DUBOIS – The DuBois Fire Department is looking for you to get involved and support your community.

Fire Chief Joe Mitchell explained that volunteering isn’t just about fighting fires, and you can help in multiple ways, from administrative work, fundraising, traffic control, and specialized rescue teams.

“There’s always a place for everybody on, at the fire station, whether that’s on the scene or at the fire station,” explained Chief Mitchell

The department also focuses on family involvement to keep volunteers engaged, hosting family nights, potlucks, and community events.

If you are interested in volunteering, you can contact the DuBois Fire Department to find a role that suits your needs.
