CLEARFIELD – If you are a resident of Clearfield County, and you have an interest in serving on an oversight board, there are currently a number of openings.
The Clearfield County Commissioners are accepting and considering letters of interest now until December 9th.
There are six positions to fill on the board of Community Connections of Clearfield and Jefferson Counties, two vacancies on the Curwensville Lake Authority, two openings on the Solid Waste Authority, and one spot is available on the county’s Planning Commission.
Commissioner Chairman John Sobel is asking local residents to consider serving with an understanding that the functioning of the various boards is important to the proper functioning of the county government. Letters of interest may be submitted to the Clearfield County Commissioners office.
