Unsolved cases of property and vehicle damage, unrelated to each other

Jefferson and Elk Counties, PA – There are multiple unsolved cases of property and vehicle damage in Jefferson and Elk Counties. None of the cases appear related to each other, but they remain difficult to solve.

On Friday in Barnett Township, Jefferson County, someone struck a parked car causing minor damage in the parking lot of the Cousin Basil’s Restaurant along Route 36, but the security cameras were not working and the suspect was not able to be identified.

In another case in Jefferson County, this time in Eldred Township along Route 36, a semi-truck attempted to turn around in the parking lot of Lapierre’s Garage sometime either Dec. 1 or 2. The truck got caught on utility wires running to a private light pole, and it ended up pulling down the pole. No security cameras were available, and no witnesses were at the scene.

In Elk County, a radio station’s property was damaged by an unknown person in a pick-up truck, causing nearly $1,000 of damage.

It happened at The Hound radio station on Boot Jack Road in Ridgway on Nov. 17. The radio station is also known as WDDH and Laurel Media.

An unknown person drove through the yard, causing $950 worth of damage. The vehicle was a four-door, dual-wheeled flat-bed truck which appeared to have some large equipment in the back.
