Big Run, PA – Someone driving a white box truck struck a tree on Monday morning in Big Run, but police are still searching for who that driver was.
It happened on East Main Street in Big Run just before 10 a.m. Monday.
The unknown driver was going too fast and lost control of the box truck on the curve and struck a tree where Main Street intersects with Mill Road.
Strangely enough, this is the same location in Big Run where a separate, unrelated crash happened later Monday night when a high-speed police chase ended in a deadly crash.
In the case of the box truck crash, it was not fatal but police do not know the identity of the driver or whether they were injured.
