PUNXSUTAWNEY – Two women are facing felony theft charges after allegedly attempting to steal over $1,000 dollars worth of items at the Punxsutawney Walmart earlier in the year.

On May 25th, police were dispatched to the Walmart for an alleged theft. Officers were told that two women, later identified as 60 year-old Dianne Priester and 59 year-old Suzanne Andre were allegedly placing items into reusable bags while walking through the store.

At one point  Priester left the store to bring a vehicle to the front of the establishment, Andre then tried to leave the store with a cart totaling around $1,062 dollars. When stopped by an attendant asking for a receipt, Andre said it was in the vehicle, at which point she went to the vehicle and the duo drove off.
