
Morris Township, PA – Two people are left with serious injuries after a suspected DUI crash in Clearfield County.
State Police in Clearfield say 57-year-old Carol Barton from Morrisdale had been driving along the the Kylertown Drifting Highway on Friday afternoon when she veered off of the roadway, over-corrected, and crossed the center line.
She struck a vehicle head-on, driven by a 61-year-old woman from Grassflat.
Both had serious injuries.
Barton, the driver who was charged with DUI, was taken by ambulance to Penn Highlands Clearfield.
The other driver had to be flown via medical helicopter to UPMC Altoona.
Both had been wearing their seat belts.
