
Jay Township, PA – Two lawn mowers, worth a total of $1,000, were stolen in Elk County.
The victim, a 58-year-old man from Indiana, PA, had been storing the mowers in a shed at a camp along Caledonia Road and Bennetts Valley Highway in Jay Township.
On April 5, he told police that his green Lawn Boy push mower worth $500 and his black and red Craftsman push mower worth $500 were both missing.
A padlock was also damaged.
The crime took place sometime between November 2021 and April 2022.
