PUNXSUTAWNEY – Two Punxsutawney women are facing assault charges associated with a domestic dispute earlier in the month.
On August 14th police were called to an apartment in the 100 block of Weis Alley for reports of a domestic dispute.
Once on scene police discovered 22 year-old Alexis King and 34 year-old Kaylyn Garcia had been in an altercation with visible injuries.
After investigation police discovered the pair had been verbally arguing all day ultimately turning violent.
Both women are facing misdemeanor simple assault charges and harassment charges.
Preliminary hearings for the pair are scheduled for September 5th.
