Toby Township, PA – Two drivers are left with serious injuries after a crash in Clarion County.

19-year-old Gavin Reesman from Rimersburg had been driving his Honda Accord too fast for conditions along Route 68 in Toby Township on Oct. 19.

He lost control, overcorrected, and ended up in the wrong lane, where he was struck by a Hyundai Sonata driven by 56-year-old Michael Kessler of Rimersburg.

Reesman’s vehicle hit a guide rail and went airborne, landing with the roof against the guide rail.

Reesman was not wearing a seat belt. He had life-sustaining injuries and was taken by ambulance to Clarion Hospital.

Kessler also went to Clarion Hospital, although he had been wearing a seat belt and had less serious injuries.
