McCalmont Township, PA – More details are coming out about a police chase in Jefferson County on Monday.
Around 11:15 a.m., State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a call about a robbery on main Street in McCalmont Township, near Anita.
Two men had forced their way into a home, assaulted the victim, and stolen several items before fleeing.
The suspects were located but continued to flee from police.
The two men crashed along Route 36 in Young Township and had to be taken by helicopter to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation continues.
