BARNETT TWP. – Drug-related charges have been filed against a pair of 24-year-old men following a traffic stop in Jefferson County.

State Police say Joshua Vanek, Jr of Leeper and Logan Parrish of Strattanville are both charged with felony possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine.

Police reportedly stopped a vehicle on Route 36 in Barnett Township for not using a turn signal.

While talking with the driver, Vanek, and the passenger, Parrish; troopers saw drug paraphernalia on the floor of the car.

When Vanek, Parrish, and the car were searched, more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and various drug-related items were allegedly found.

Preliminary hearings are scheduled for both Vanek and Parrish in Jefferson County on July 11th.
