WINSLOW TWP. – Two Jefferson County men will face felony theft charges for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of scrap metal from a Winslow Township property.

State Police say 42-year-old Cory Himes and 40-year-old Michael Kolish are accused of removing four barrels full of scrap metal, valued at approximately $2,400, from private property along Dickey Road.

The victim had installed trail cameras on his property, so he was able to give a description of the vehicle used in the theft which helped police track down Himes and Kolish in Reynoldsville.

Both men are scheduled for their preliminary hearings in magisterial court on October 13th.
