Two flown to hospital after motorcycle vs deer crash

Pine Creek Township, PA – A pair from Reynoldsville were taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital after a motorcycle crash.

It happened last Friday just after 9 p.m. when 42-year-old David Nagele III and his passenger, 41-year-old Marian Nagele, were riding their 2014 Honda Fury motorcycle along Route 322 in Pine Creek Township.

A deer jumped into the roadway, and the motorcycle was unable to avoid it.

David Nagele suffered injuries of unknown severity. He was not wearing a helmet. Marian Nagele also was flown to the hospital with unknown injuries, but she had been wearing a helmet.

There’s no word on their current condition.
