DUBOIS – A pair of DuBois men are in the Clearfield County Jail and face robbery and assault charges for allegedly stealing over $4,700 from another DuBois man last week.
DuBois City Police say 25-year-old Alexander Bohensky and 27-year-old Matthew Pearson II are accused of attacking the victim in DuBois Wednesday and taking cash from his pockets which was intended to be used to pay attorney’s fees. Bohensky and Pearson were found a short time following the robbery. They were found hiding in a Grant Street residence. At the time they were captured, Pearson had $2,500 in cash and Bohensky was holding more than $2,200.
A preliminary hearing for both men is scheduled for Friday.
