Two DuBois men face charges of robbery, assault and reckless endangerment

DuBois – The two DuBois men accused of robbing, assaulting, and then stealing more than $4,200 in cash from another DuBois man were scheduled for their preliminary hearings on Friday.

Both 25-year-old Alexander Bohensky and 27-year-old Matthew Pearson II faced charges of robbery, simple assault, and theft for the September 28th incident on Grant Street in DuBois.

According to court documents, Pearson’s bail has been lowered to $25,000 after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing.

Bohensky had two of four charges dropped but is being held without bail.

Other charges were brought against Bohensky for an unrelated case of fleeing to elude police and reckless endangerment.

The charges are related to an incident in June when Bohensky reportedly led police on a chase reaching speeds of 130 miles per hour on Interstate 80.
