DuBois City Police: two damaged buildings, packages stolen from porch, domestic incident

DuBois, PA – Someone tried to break in to two buildings off of Williams Street in DuBois recently, breaking a door panel on building and a window on another.

In other news from DuBois City Police, packages were stolen off a porch. In separate cases, police also investigated a possible domestic assault inside a moving vehicle and a possible case of harassment over a custody dispute.

Officers received a call in reference to an attempted break in to two buildings off of Williams Street. The caller stated someone kicked in a door panel on one building and another suffered damage to a window. Investigation continues.

Officers received a report that two separate packages were stolen from the callers front porch after USPS delivered them over the last several days. Investigation continues.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Shaffer Road and Maple Avenue for a domestic assault in progress inside a moving vehicle. The white Chevrolet ran the red light and turned left off Shaffer Road and was heading east towards Rockton. Officers asked for Sandy Twp and PSP assistant in looking for the vehicle and individuals inside. The vehicle was unable to be located. The female in the vehicle had later called in and advised everything was okay and nothing had happened.

Officers responded to 100 N. Main Street for a report of harassment. The caller reported that her ex was harassing her. The two are in a custody dispute currently. A motorcycle followed her closely while driving and continued to follow her. She observed that it was her ex. While calling 911 he departed.
