DuBois – Two Clearfield County men are facing child endangerment charges for allegedly leaving a six-month-old child unattended.

Both 33-year-old Zachary Clinchoc and 18-year-old Brayden Smith of Rockton were charged by police for an early August incident.

Clinchoc is reportedly the father of the baby boy.

Witnesses say he abuses drugs and doesn’t have proper supplies or sleeping accommodations in his apartment to care for the child.

He allegedly asked Smith to babysit the child, but Smith and his girlfriend also left the child unattended in the apartment for an unknown amount of time.

Both Clinchoc and Smith are being held on $10,000 bail.

Clinchoc is facing additional charges for criminal trespass onto a Union Township property.
