PITTSBURGH – Two area men were sentenced to serve time in federal prison for their involvement in drug trafficking in Jefferson and Clearfield counties.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, 57-year-old Darryl Isaacs of Punxsutawney and 34-year-old Brandon Coder of Penfield were sentenced Thursday in Federal Court in Pittsburgh.

Isaacs will serve two years in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

Coder was sentenced to 3-and-a-half-years behind bars, and also three years of supervised release.

Both Isaacs and Coder were reportedly involved in the “Return to Sender” drug ring which trafficked cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and cash between California and Western Pennsylvania.
