CLEARFIELD – Clearfield County twin brothers charged with multiple felonies for stealing more than $22,000 from a fast food restaurant will continue their preliminary hearings next week.
According to Clearfield Regional Police, Shane Nevling of Clearfield and Shawn Nevling of Curwensville, both 40-years-old, are accused of taking the money between August and September.
Police reports indicate that Shane Nevling worked as a night shift manager, and Shawn Nevling was the general manager of the Clearfield restaurant.
Court records show that the Nevlings have a history of theft charges, often committing the crimes together.
Investigators also say that a search of phone messages between the Nevlings reveals that they were involved with drug sales and gambling.
