SANDY TOWNSHIP – A truck vs bicycle accident has left one man in critical condition Friday afternoon.
First responders told us that the accident occurred on Brady Street near Shaft Road on Route 119 at around 3:15 pm.
Officer Johnson with the Sandy Township police told us that the man on the bicycle was seriously injured and sent directly to the hospital.
“It was a motor vehicle accident that involved a small pickup truck and a bike,“ explained Officer Johnson. “Now, it’s under investigation. We haven’t made any determinations yet. The bicycle operator sustained serious injuries, and was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois.”
As of Monday Morning, the bicyclist is still in critical condition.
