UNDATED – Gas prices in the Tri-County area are now all over four dollars a gallon.
According to AAA, Jefferson County continues to have the lowest average at $4.11 dollars a gallon, up 14 cents from last week.
Once again both Clearfield and Elk County’s average gas prices are the same at $4.18 dollars, up 18 cents from last week.
Statewide averages went up another 12 cents to $4.19 dollars.
Nationally, the average gas price went over four dollars for the first time since August of 2022.
