RIDGWAY – Tri-County area governments and organizations are being encouraged to apply for Greenways mini block grants.
The North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission, in cooperation with the state’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, is offering up to $25,000 in dollar-for-dollar match grants to applicants in Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk counties. The grant program is supports recreation, conservation, and heritage projects that are in line with the North Central Pennsylvania Greenways Plan.
Applications for the competitive grant program are being accepted during the month of February. More information is available at North Central’s Greenways web site – www.ncentralgreenways.com.
