UNDATED – It is back-to-school week in the Tri-County area.
Today, students and teachers head back to the classroom for the start of the school year at DuBois Christian Schools and in the Punxsutawney Area School District .
The school bells will once again be ringing for the DuBois, Brockway, Brookville, and Clearfield area school districts on Wednesday morning.
Then on Thursday, it will be the first day of school for students at Jeff Tech, Curwensville, Ridgway, and St. Marys area schools.
Be aware of extra traffic on the roads this week, especially school buses and vans, and be aware of students at bus stops or walking to and from the school buildings.
