CLEARFIELD – This month and next, PennDOT crews will be trimming and removing trees from along an Elk County road.
According to the District 2 Office, work has already started along Route 4003 in Jones and Ridgway townships. PennDOT officials say the project will enhance driver safety, and extend the life of the road’s surface. The work is expected to be complete by the end of February, but progress is weather-dependent.
If you drive on Route 4003 in Elk County, you may encounter short delays. Flaggers will enforce an alternating traffic pattern where the work zones.
