DUBOIS – Close to 30 tree planters have been placed in the City of DuBois.
DuBois Mayor Patrick Reasinger, with expertise from Penn State representatives, chose the locations across town to place the planters.
Mayor Reasinger told us that right now flower bulbs are being planted with larger fauna planned for the springtime.
“We have 27 of them, they’re 42”high and 42” around,” explained Mayor Reasinger. “They hold 50 gallons of water, so you should only have to water them every two weeks.”
The Mayor is still working alongside Penn State experts to find a variety of small trees to plant once the snow is gone.
