TREASURE LAKE – A Treasure Lake author has released his first novel, Badlands, a crime thriller set in North Eastern Montana and the Badlands of North Dakota
As Scott Harris drove to the post office at Treasure Lake daily he began to think about a short story about how a long haul trucker would work as a serial killer. That idea evolved into his now published book.
Harris told us about his inspiration and how his passion for writing is characters driven, to the point that they write themselves beyond his conspiracy theories.
“I was inspired to write it geographically by going out there and spending a lot of time and thinking, man this is a desolate part of the country, this would be a good place for a crime story,“ explained Harris.
