UNDATED – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is investing nearly $250,000 dollars statewide to train new school bus drivers.

Locally, Fullington Auto Bus Company, which serves Centre and Clearfield counties, is receiving $42,500 to help train 25 new drivers.

This funding, which comes from fines gathered from Pennsylvania’s school bus stopping law, will cover CDL training, wages, and testing fees.
