Traffic Stop Turns into DUI/Warrant Arrest

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – A Brockway man is behind bars after allegedly driving while under the influence.

On November 21st, troopers pulled over a vehicle on State Road 322 in Winslow Township. Officers noted the driver allegedly jumped into the passenger seat after pulling over. 

When officers spoke to the unidentified 29 year-old man, he allegedly told police that the driver fled into the woods.

Officers noted the man was impaired in addition to learning he had a DUI suspended license and active warrants. A search of the vehicle revealed a baggie allegedly containing methamphetamines.

The man was taken into custody where he faces DUI charges.
