DUBOIS – Traffic delays in and around DuBois are likely to continue this week.
A portion of westbound Interstate 80 near exit 97 in Sandy Township will still be reduced to one lane of traffic.
But starting today, it will be the right travel lane that is closed.
According to PennDOT, a project to repair and improve the roadway, bridge, and approach surfaces in that area is expected to take another two weeks to complete.
PennDOT officials report that at times there has been significant traffic flow impact during the first phase of this project, so they ask you to build some extra time into your commute schedule.
Continue to be cautious in this and all work zones and obey posted speed limits.
