Clearfield County, PA – A tractor-trailer ran off the side of Interstate 80 early Tuesday morning in Clearfield County, spilling fuel all over the roadway near mile marker 113 eastbound (near the Penfield exit).
Although there’s no word on if the driver had any injuries, Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Company says the driver was able to safely get out of the cab of the truck before they arrived.
Emergency crews diverted traffic and attempted to control fuel leaking from a ruptured tank Tuesday morning, but they had to wait until daylight Tuesday to fully clean up the scene.
