DUBOIS – A timber sale is in the works in DuBois.
This planned sale will involve approximately 627,000 feet of timber located between Interstate 80 and Christian Ridge Road.
According to Forester Kenny Kane, right now timber prices are up as we move into winter weather. He also said the sale will go well due to the location being on flat ground with easy access.
Now, as the municipality prepares to take bids on the tree cutting, once approved will take around 18 months to complete.
