Thunderstorm knocks down tree branches, power lines

SHARE NOW

DuBois, PA – Heavy, sudden thunderstorms yesterday in our area brought down trees and power lines, leaving many residents without electricity for at least part of the afternoon and evening.

Crews have been able to clean up most of the debris, and electrical companies worked throughout the night and are continuing to help restore everyone’s electricity.

As you’re driving today, pay close attention to any big branches or other debris that might still be in the road, especially in the more remote, wooded areas.

We’re expecting more thunderstorms today.
