Three people plead guilty to scheming to steal money from Clearfield business

CLEARFIELD – Three people accused of scheming to steal money from a Clearfield business pleaded guilty this week in county court.

The man who came up with the plan of altering and forging scrap metal receipts, 45-year-old Richard Gearhart, was sentenced to up to four years in state prison in July.

On Tuesday, 43-year-old Jessica Dunworth; 40-year-old Damian Goho; and 20-year-old Jerry Goho were sentenced to two years of probation.

Dunworth and Jerry Goho were also ordered to pay restitution to the business.

More than $2,100 was reportedly stolen through the scheme.
