North Mahoning Township, PA – Police want your help with an animal cruelty case in Indiana County after three dogs attacked a miniature pony near Punxsutawney.
Two pit bulls and a Labrador retriever mix reportedly attacked the pony around 5:30 p.m. on March 3 on Yoder Road. During the attack, the owner of the pony shot and fatally wounded one of the pit bulls.
The other two dogs ran away but were later found on Laska Road, Jefferson County.
The owners of the dogs are still unknown.
The investigation is ongoing.
