Thieves used forklift to remove safe from business along Route 410

Henderson Township, PA – Someone used a forklift to take an entire safe and all of the money inside from a business in Jefferson County, and police need your help finding out who did it.

It was between 2 and 3:30 a.m. last Monday, Oct. 26 when the unknown thief or thieves stole the safe from Dave’s Metal Roofing along Route 410 in Henderson Township (Troutville area).

They used a forklift to load the safe into a four-four sedan pickup truck which fled the scene. The truck was seen traveling north along Route 119 towards Sykesville.

The safe was reported to contain a large amount of cash and several thousand dollars’ worth of precious metals.
