Thief drills hole in gas tank near Munson, causing $1,000 of damage

Morris Township, PA – Someone drilled a hole in a gas tank of a vehicle in Clearfield County, causing $1,000 in damage.

Sometime early on Nov. 1, a thief who was trying to steal fuel drilled a hole in the gas tank of a vehicle parked along Pheasant Drive in Morris Township (near Munson, south-east Clearfield County).

There is at least $1,000 of damage, and this is the second time something like this was reported in this area recently.

The victims this time are an older couple, an 81-year-old man and 79-year-old woman.
