DUBOIS – A DuBois School is collecting donations to give back to the community for Thanksgiving.
New Story School is hosting their 4th “Thanksgiving in a Box” event to gather and distribute supplies to you.
We heard from students who are hopeful to pack 100 boxes to give to the community.
“It feels nice,“ explained Addison Wells, an 11th grade student. “It’s good for others, for people to watch and see how we’re coming together and doing things with each other, and communicating.”
“I Feel like it’s nice to give back to the community,” explained Honey, a 10th grader. “I mean, people struggle a lot, especially after COVID.”
You can still donate now at New Story School, located at 460 Jeffers Street in DuBois, until November 15th
Your Thanksgiving food items will then be handed back out ten days later on November 25th.
