SYKESVILLE – A local teen faces four felony charges for allegedly picking up a 13-year-old girl from her Sykesville home in the middle of the night.
Sykesville Police say 18-year-old Camden Luzier of Grampian is accused of interfering with the custody of a child, and concealing the whereabouts of a child.
Luzier reportedly picked up the teen without her parents’ knowledge or permission in the early morning hours of a school day earlier this year. The girl later admitted to police that she, Luzier, and several other people hung out and drove around the DuBois area until she arrived at school.
Following his arraignment, Luzier was released on $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday in Jefferson County.
