UNDATED – Officials are warning you of potential tax season scams.
According to officials with the IRS, scammers will try a multitude of ways to get your hard earned money.
These ways include phishing via text and email, bad tax advice, fake IRS accounts, fake charities, sending fake claims, among many others.
The IRS would like to remind you that they would never contact you through social media, email, or text and the first form of contact would be through certified mail.
