DUBOIS – A local group is trying to help raise money for local children with classic cars and coffee.
On Sunday First Class Children’s Foundation organized tens of classic and sports automobiles alongside free coffee, donuts, and live music to try to raise money for local children’s school needs.
According to the event’s organizer, Matt Reed, for the past seven years the donation based event works toward giving every child much needed opportunities.
“We’re trying to raise money to buy school supplies, books, and sneakers for kids in the DuBois school district,“ explained Reed.
If you missed out this past weekend, don’t worry, Cars and Coffee will return two more times at the DuBois Middle School this month on the 15th and 22nd from 9am to 11am.
The group also plans to hold a Fall show at the DuBois High School later in the season.
