SHARE NOW

PITTSBURGH – The attorneys defending former DuBois City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio, and former city employee Bobbie Shaffer, have been granted additional time to file pretrial motions.  According to U.S. Court documents, a federal judge has delayed the filing deadline from today, June 3rd, to Friday, August 2nd.

A variety of charges have been filed against Suplizio and Shaffer, related to the alleged theft of more than half-a-million dollars from the City of DuBois. Under federal sentencing guidelines, Suplizio and Shaffer could face up to 45 years in prison and as much as $1.2 million in fines if they are found guilty.
