DUBOIS – Details and specifics. That is what the team of defense attorneys for former DuBois City Manager, John “Herm” Suplizio, is asking for as they prepare for a federal trial.
Suplizio has been accused of making fraudulent transactions, costing the city well over half a-million dollars.
Suplizio’s defense team has filed a motion asking that they be provided with specific information about the tens of thousands of alleged transactions over the past ten years. The Suplizio team also contends that the government attorneys did not specify which parts of the transactions was unauthorized and illegal.
A “Motion for a Bill of Particulars” was submitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Friday.
