DUBOIS — Attorneys representing suspended DuBois City Manager Herm Suplizio have been granted an additional 30 days to file pretrial motions in the federal case against him.

On Friday, a federal judge extended the filing deadline from March 4th to April 3rd.

A variety of charges have been filed against Suplizio, and former DuBois city employee Bobbie Shaffer, related to the alleged theft of over half-a-million dollars from the City of DuBois.

Under federal sentencing guidelines, Suplizio and Shaffer could face up to 45 years in prison and as much as $1.2 million in fines if they are found guilty.
