DUBOIS – A motion for a bill of particulars for former DuBois City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio has been approved by the courts as they prepare for federal trial.
According to court documents, the government has until October 3rd to provide a bill of particulars for the defense team.
It is also stated that after that deadline, any replies must be filed by November 4th.
On August 2nd Suplizo’s defense attorney asked that they be provided with specific information about the tens of thousands of alleged transactions over the past ten years.
They also said that the government attorneys did not specify which parts of the transactions were unauthorized and illegal.
In 2023 the former City Manager, alongside former city administrative secretary Roberta Shaffer were federally indicted for allegedly committing fraudulent transactions with city funds from 2014 to 2022.
