UNDATED – A special moon viewing experience will be visible Tuesday night, as a plethora of celestial phenomena will grace the skyline.
NASA officials say that September’s full “harvest” moon will also be a supermoon, meaning the satellite will appear bigger, brighter, and last longer than a normal full moon.
Additionally, there will also be a partial lunar eclipse enhancing the sky viewing fun.
For the best viewing experience, experts say to watch the skies starting at 10:35pm Tuesday September 14th. The full eclipse is expected to be visible around 10:44pm.
