Summerville man strikes truck then tree, sustains serious injuries

Paint Township, PA – A Summerville man sustained serious injuries after striking a truck head-on, then hitting a tree.

20-year-old Tristian Doshak had been driving his Jeep Liberty on Route 66 in Paint Township in Clarion County when he crossed over the yellow line momentarily.

He struck a Peterbilt truck head-on, driven by 52-year-old Eric Bowman from Grove City.

The Jeep became dislodged from the truck when they collided with a tree. Both men had been wearing their seat belts.

The truck driver was not injured, but Doshak was taken to Clarion Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
