Summerville man faces charges for harassment and disorderly conduct

Summerville – A Jefferson County man is facing misdemeanor charges after an incident in which he threatened to burn down a house and lit a garbage can on fire.

State Police say 42-year-old Anson Walter of Summerville awaits a preliminary hearing.

Walter is accused of recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, harassment and disorderly conduct.

The domestic dispute took place in Summerville Borough last Friday.
