ROSE TOWNSHIP – A Summerville man is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing multiple items from a Rose Township property.
In March, police responded to a Hunts Run Road residence for reports of a theft. Once on scene police learned someone had stolen several power tools, chainsaw, and baseball bats.
The victim told police he discovered a few of the items were scrapped at a Clarion business.
After investigating, police learned that 37 year-old Andrew Birch allegedly scrapped the items. He was then taken to the Jefferson County Jail where he faces felony burglary and unlawful taking charges.
