DUBOIS – There may be a summer community event in DuBois after all.
At the DuBois City Council meeting on Monday, Shirley Dahrouge of Downtown DuBois Inc announced that the group she directs is leading a committee which will bring an event to DuBois similar to Community Days. This year’s traditional Community Days and Fireman’s Parade was canceled last week. Dahrouge said many organizations in DuBois are supporting this new effort.
Downtown DuBois Inc is also getting ready for the 21st Annual Community Spring Clean Up on April 20th.
On Thursday, this week, Mayor Pat Reasinger will present a proclamation from the City of DuBois marking the National Day of Hope. The mayor will present the proclamation at both the DuBois Area Middle School and DuBois Area High School.
