DuBois, PA – Come help Amserv/DuSan Ambulance Company and One Blessed Momma’s Facebook Group stuff an ambulance with school supplies!
The ambulance will be stuffed on Sunday, Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. along with a kids’ lemonade stand, a bake sale and hotdog sale with all proceeds going to buy school supplies for DuBois, DuBois Central Catholic, and DuBois Christian School.
They’ll also accept donations until this Friday during normal office hours at the ambulance company, 8 a.m. Until 4 p.m. weekdays.
Part of the inspiration for the event was a group of kids, the 1st Street Lemonade Kids, that raised money to buy school supplies for their fellow classmates… that’s kids helping kids! They started the lemonade stand and wanted to be part of collecting even more donations. They’ll be there on Sunday, so bring some cash to buy some tasty lemonade and treats.
We’ll also be collecting school supplies at our radio station office, 12 West Long Avenue, during normal business hours until this Friday, when we’ll deliver them to get stuffed in the ambulance!
